The Teaching Patch offers bespoke English learning support and tuition for children of all ages. For some children, the journey to learning to read and write well, and to keep up with the demands of the curriculum, can be challenging.

1:1 tuition is proven to have a high impact: building children’s confidence and supporting their progress towards national standards.

With a strong knowledge of the English curriculum and pedagogy, I creatively support and nurture children’s development, repairing, mending and patching any ‘gaps’ in children’s literacy knowledge and skills. Being able to read, write and communicate effectively are tools for life, beyond school.
